What happens when you don’t apply for a necessary building permit?

You will need to hire a design professional to create blueprints matching the work that was completed. The caveat is that the blueprints will need to be designed to meet the current Building Code. If your work wasn’t completed in accordance with the Code, more work will need to be done to bring it up to code, thus, costing you more money.
